Your Generosity Makes It All Possible

3 Ways to Give

Every dollar saves a life. FMCA is an all-volunteer, foster-based organization with no government funding. Everything we do, from emergency surgeries to spay and neuter programs to finding homes for vulnerable cats, is made possible entirely by the generosity of our community.

01 Donate Money

Animal rescue comes with real and ongoing costs. Veterinary care, medications, spay and neuter surgeries, food, and supplies add up quickly. As an all-volunteer organization, we keep an exceptionally low overhead — which means your donation goes directly toward the animals who need it most.

Your gift funds spay and neuter and vaccination packages for community cats, provides emergency and specialty surgeries, supports animals in our foster-based Rescue and Adoption program, and helps our local shelter during critical situations.

GIVE ONLINE

You can donate securely online directly through our ShelterLuv giving page or by using PayPal.

02 Donate Supplies

During kitten season and throughout the year, our foster families and community cat caretakers rely on donated supplies to keep animals healthy and comfortable.

Shopping our wish lists on Chewy or Amazon is a simple, tangible way to make an immediate difference.

Have gently used pet items to donate? We welcome those too. Reach out to us at info@fmca.org and we will let you know what is currently needed.

03 Donate your time

Volunteering is one of the most meaningful ways to support Friends of Montgomery County Animals. Our organization runs entirely on the dedication of community members who give their time — and there are many ways to get involved depending on your skills and availability.

Share Our Mission

You don't have to donate money to make a difference. Sharing adoptable animals, fundraising campaigns, and urgent needs on social media helps us reach more potential adopters, fosters, and donors across our community. Every share expands our reach and connects animals with the people who can help them.

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay connected and help spread the word.
